This International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis takes place in Denver, Colorado (from November 13th-16th, 2017).  At booth #1581, Atempo will showcase recent enhancements in delivering petabyte-scale incremental protection for GPFS cluster file systems: the FastScan capability “scans” the GPFS storage 10 times faster than other technologies to identify file changes and deleted files and folders.  Thanks to this FastScan phase, Atempo kick starts the backup data movements phase very early on GPFS storage. Extremely rapid parallelisation and native multi-threading driven by Atempo software adds to the overall speed of the entire process: “In live customer GPFS environments our incremental backups are 2 to 5 times faster than the previous solution that was used.
